Groundhog Day

I feel some days like I am living Groundhog Day.  I tell them that sometimes and they don't even know what that means.  I mean, other than the fact that I am wearing different clothes, I fail to see much difference in the days.

Every day I get up WAY too early. Shower, dress, eat breakfast.   Drive to school in the dark.  Have the same conversations about life, doing work, actually trying and not being lazy.

Run.  Eat.  Work at home.  Fall asleep.

Wake up the next morning and do it all over again!

And the 10th graders are STILL making my eye twitch.  And they've driven me to frustration.  And they've made me laugh out loud.  And they've stopped me dead in my tracks.  And they've broken my heart with their lives.  It should not be so hard to be 15 years old.

But somewhere in the midst of this another 15 days has flown by.  And now, I am down to 30 more days with these darlin's til they move on up to another class.  Nuts, huh?  30. more. days.

Here they are ... the past 15 eye-twitching, fun filled days!  Did I mention we had a pinata Friday?  What was I thinking?
