Counting blessings with JOY ...

Perspective can always adopt gratitude — and gratitude always parents joy.
- Ann Voskamp

Mexico was just what I needed ... a break from real life (even if it did involve WAY too much running after planes) and a new perspective ... a slowing of life ... a returning to joy ...

In our short time outside of Cancun, we saw over 700 patients, filled about 3000 prescriptions, and welcomed at least 10 new believers into the Kingdom.  We saw God work in us as much as around us adn I think there just might be some of our team who are sensing God doing big things in their lives.  We had great sharetimes on the roof of the mission house and enjoyed sunshine in a week that forecast rain every day ... there were sweet memories and lots of laughter ... sweet unity as the body of Christ.  There was a lot of joy.

I came back to a full inbox and a full voicemail box, summer missions orientation, staff meeting, and leadership interviews.  I am tired just thinking about it.  Before my newfound perspective goes out the window, let me stop and recount some of the amazing blessings of the last week ...
