Intimacy

My most favorite part of the Mexico trip was getting up early to spend time with God ... unhurried, outside, where it just seemed easier to hear Him and feel close and loved.  I mean, when someone sends an invite like this ... how can you not show up??

I have reminded myself time and again that the sun also rises in Winder, GA and that I can plop myself, my Bible and journal down on my back patio any morning to spend time with God.  But somehow it's just not the same!  But last week was a gift ... to have the desire to get out of bed and move to the balcony ... especially with a Coca Light and to start the day with my love.  And it was awesome to be up and out at 630 am, seeing others do the same ...

not because we had to ...

but because the One who loves us beckoned ...

and we could not resist His advances!
