change ...

I don't think I like it.  I kinda thought that maybe I didn't mind it ... but I've decided I do!

Someone asked me a few years ago, "How do you do it???  All the leaving ..."  My response, "huh?" "Well, students graduate and leave every year.  Isn't that hard?"  At that point, it wasn't so much.  Seems like most of the folks I knew best were still around.  Last year I dodged the bullet when several of those who graduated decided to call Athens "home" for a little while longer.

But not this year ... my Tuesday night dinner date got married a few months ago, and she headed out for MS this weekend for her husband to begin Law School.  So proud of her, excited for her ... and so stinkin' gonna miss her and our Moes dates, Diet Cokes, crafting, talking, weight watching lives.

and not only that, but one of my Daniel girls is LA (yep, the one in California) bound.  God did an amazing thing in her life this year, bringing her husband-to-be out of nowhere (well, out of secret service school) ... and although we are all a bit sad to see her move across the country ... we are so excited about all God has ahead for Amy and Brandon ...

Yep ... I don't think I like change.  Gonna miss these girls ... a.lot.

Except, change means these favorites are coming back to Georgia and bringing baby Wells with them!  And yes, "Wells" did, indeed run her first 5K in utero!  :0) 

Maybe I only like change when it works to MY advantage!
