what [love.] looked like THIS week:

Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn't love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.   Eph 5:1-2 (Msg)


  • a girl who stayed Friday night to set up sound and tech for the movie night when she had other places she needed to be
  • cleaning up the kitchen
  • five folks who mopped water out of BCM until midnight
  • notes, emails, and fb messages floating around BCM
  • a New Dawg team that gave it their all after an exhausting first week of class to give freshmen a great allnighter experience Friday
a couple of guys who showed up to cook in the 100 degree heat and 1000% humidity

leadership team who served, not only at "their" events, but as part of everything BCM had going this week

the "F" team who came and moved sound equipment and put out pans for the flood of 2010 - part 2

the D team guys who graciously grilled yet again!!

Serving up hotdogs outside the freshman dorms (since the dining halls are closed) ...

after an exhausting weekend ... in the heat and humidity ...

with great attitudes and sweet spirits ... and being able to say "because we [love.] ya ..."

couldn't be more proud of how I've seen people [love.] others this week!!!
