802. truth ... even when it is hard to hear
803. Grace for the Good Girl ... I am still reading slowly and deliberately through it. Today we looked at Genesis 3 and she made two very good points that are still resonating with me tonight.
1. Satan convinced Eve that she had to DO to BE. He is still trying to convince us of that today ... that we have to earn, work, do stuff in order to be significant, loved, valued, etc. It's a LIE!804. nurses. I LOVE my nurses.
2. He offered them something they already possessed. He told them if they ate from the tree, they would be like God. But they already were ... made in His image. Satan, crafty thing that he is is always trying to get us to BUY what we already POSSESS and the cost is much greater than the grace that gave it to us in the first place.
805. medical missions ... this is the biggest perk of my job. I get to do medical missions all over the world with some of the most amazing people I've ever known! And it's my JOB!
806. Marking some stuff off the to-do list. I've mentioned before that things that seem hard or undesirable to me I often put off. Tonight I bit the bullet and got some things set in motion ... MAYBE that means I will sleep well tonight!
