737 - 750 ...

Ahhhh ..it's November 2nd and I am finding something very freeing about NOT having a blog entry hanging over my head.   I am a much better writer when I "feel like it" ... and I am finding I am NOT a very self-disciplined person.  I have some friends who amaze me with their discipline, but sadly, I am not Gini B who gave up Diet Coke or others who set goals and stick to them no. matter. what.

So, all of that to say, I am relishing no overwhelming assignments this month because "just plain life" this month seems overwhelming enough!

But, I what I lack in self discipline, I make up for in good intentions and this month I am abounding in good intentions ... like joining Erin in Project Thankful.  She is making her cards and sending one a day. I am not making mine ... or sending one a day ... but am sending them.  I am leading my students through a quick survey of 1000 Gifts coupled with some practical expressions of gratitude and service ... so excited about this (except that I am blogging when I should be preparing for tomorrow).  Can't wait to see how God uses this with them.  And, I have made it my goal to get to 1000 on my gifts list THIS month.

And, I'm making Christmas gifts, retaking the Praxis, finishing the semester, renting my house, preparing to move to Augusta (which means finding a place to live here), and going home for a week, and watching Hannah get married ... oh, dear, I am so tired.

Better get on to counting gifts before I fall asleep ...
