In His image ...

 I think I am definitely happiest when I am creating! 

Maybe that's part of being made in the image of our Creator. 

 I don't really know the theology of all of that, but I am thankful that He has gifted us with this attribute. 

And I can see Him in the joy it brings. 

I can understand better this statement in the creation account ...

God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.

Maybe it's just the very tangible side of me ... but I love to look back on what I've crafted or created with that sense of satisfaction and joy and think ... this is good.

But maybe there's more to being created in His image that makes my heart sing when I create.  Maybe it's the joy that comes, more, that it was done for someone else ... and the joy is more in knowing the joy it will bring to them.  That's our Creator.  What He did, He did for us, for our joy and His joy has come in that.
