6 on Saturday

It's been the most exhausting week ... But so good, too!

We started the week with devastating tornadoes just a few miles north of here.  I've loved seeing stories of hope in the midst of he loss.

I finally finished and submitted my almost 100 pages of national board portfolio.  Still have tests to take before I am done. Pray I pass!!

My kids took their end of course exam ... I stress-baked!!  So thankful we are done!! Now, if we didn't sill have 5 weeks left ...

It was freezing!!  May 1 I wore a sweatshirt to school!!!

I love living at my grandparents' house!!  These sprouted up in random parts of the yard.  I remember my grandmother planting them ... And then hating how they'd lay over after they bloomed.  Memories ...

Last fall God gave me a gift in the form of a student aide named, Emily.  She's become a sweet friend.  She asked me to make her "favorite cupcakes" for her engagement party last night.  Thankful for sweet friends God has provided at school!!

May's going to be a fun month!!  Looking forward to slower days at school, finishing the national board process, celebrating Mom's retirement, Mother's Day, planting the garden, reading for fun, running on warm evenings ... I can see the light and that means summer's coming!!
