Cause some weeks I'm a little late.
1. Let's start with how thankful I am for my sweet, godly mom. She is infinitely better than me, but has taught me to love, serve, and give. This week we start celebrating her retirement! She has faithfully served children and families at Geyer Springs for 38 years. So proud of her!! Wanna be just like her!!
2. Yesterday I got to be a part of the dedication of these two kiddos!! They've already stolen my heart. So proud of my courageous friends who made fostering and adoption part of their lives!!
3. Plus I got to do one of my favorite things ... Help throw a party for them. One of the blessings of being "home" is reconnecting with old friends!!
4. Mom and I got the garden planted. I love scoping out new growth!! Can't wait to watch it bloom!!
5. I got my hair chopped. I like it, most days!!!
6. And we had a cinco de mayo party with the teachers on my floor at school! Most fun we've had all year!! I love my coworkers!!!
4 more weeks of school ... Not that I'm counting or anything!!
