Counting blessings again ... because I am NOT in Zambia these next two weeks ...
431. I have gotten two good nights of sleep (NOT on an airplane)
432. It is cool and pleasant here and I am enjoying my morning as I pack for Camp Pinnacle (and the spring Campus Ministers' meeting)
433. I talked to my Mom 5 times yesterday ... another blessing I would have missed
434. I get to go to a wedding this weekend that I was sadly missing to be in Zambia
435. I am making plans to catch up with friends I haven't seen in months since work has been so crazy
436. I have friends coming for dinner Wed. night and I get to cook.
437. My mail and paper are stopped until May 31st ... and my yard is freshly mowed. I had two weeks worth of chores done ahead ... so more time to enjoy!
438. I am at peace with my choice and am praying everyday for my sweet team.
439. Sweet mam bird sitting on her nest at my front door ... cannot wait to hear the cheaping on her little babies
440. Regaining perspective
441. SONIC diet cokes
442. Getting back into a healthier routine... running and eating yummy summer foods!
443. Fresh strawberries for breakfast
444. flipflops and freshly painted toes
445. sweet texts, phone calls, emails from friends
446. flowers blooming in my pots ... and they won't die while I'm gone!
447. rainy, overcast morning - great for a drive
448. clean floors
449. long summer evenings
450. being fully here where I am
Bet if I look, I can make it to 1000 in the next two weeks of being NOT where I expected, but where God planned for me to be ...
Look on our shield, O God;
look with favor on your anointed one.
Better is one day in your courts
than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
the LORD bestows favor and honor;
no good thing does he withhold
from those whose walk is blameless.
LORD Almighty,
blessed is the one who trusts in you.
