Hey! Don't you worry,

Nope. Not been a bad day because of a boy. It's been a long, crazy day of meetings followed by an email that says ... All Haiti trips are cancelled until May. I completely understand. Haiti is not safe. It wasn't safe before the earthquake. It's not safe today. And I've told my folks all along that the state department is gonna have warnings about Haiti. That's just fact. But when the Haitian pastors we go to help tell us not to come, that we will not come. Well, that happened today. Until the elections are over in March and things settle, NO ONE thinks Haiti is a wise place to travel. I completely concur.
But, I have 40 people who have bought passports and gotten shots and taken off work and are planning to go to Haiti ... for $250. Cause Haiti relief money was paying a LOT of the costs of that trip. I can't really take them anywhere else for $250. Especially not anywhere overseas. Thus, the dilemma. It's been a long, long few hours!
So, I am bringing my fish and loaves and begging God to multiply and produce a miracle. Preferrably while I curl up into a ball on the couch and pretend like it's not happening. At least for the next eight hours.
And TOMORROW, I will start again with a list of gifts. Tonight I fear it would be dripping with sarcasm like my brother's response to me (since he's been begging me for weeks to cancel the Haiti trip):
me: "Haiti trips are cancelled"
Kevin: "Whew, maybe ya'll can schedule Egypt"
The sun'll come out tomorrow ... unless it doesn't.

Sorry again... about the news and about not having the time to talk. I miss you and I'm praying for those loaves and fish! :) Maybe it is divine intervention (sorry stuck on Jonah here:)... and something great and significant will come to happen!!
