LOVE, LOVE this girl!! She has been such a blessing in my life the last five years!! She is my WW buddy, my running buddy, my do whatever crazy thing I find for us to do buddy! She's helped me survive BCM craziness (especially the two years she was president and then intern!!) and still does with our Tuesday night dinners (the redeeming point to Tuesday nights!) She is my fellow Diet Coke addict and yes, we probably need an intervention and helps encourage me to be the woman God calls me to be!! And she is getting married in a few short weeks and she will be an A-MAZING wife!! She is a great cook, a thoughtful friend, creative and crafty and makes any place she is feel at home. Did I mention she also teaches special ed ... yep, she should be nominated for sainthood ... she's that stinkin' awesome!!
Her wedding has a black and white theme with some special little splashes of color ... so her shower was black and white with HER splash of color and it was so fun!!! And since I love baking even more than I love blogging, I wanted to share the rainbow cake I've been DYING to try ever since Laura made hers ... and Gini's black and white with the secret color shower seemed just the place.

OH my! that cake! that "to-go" piece lasted all of the car ride home and 15 minutes after I walked in my apartment. Well done Karen!! I'm gonna have to start taking classes from you.
