that time again...

I had been watching those pesky purple weeks grow all over my neighborhood.  I tried to convince myself they were even pretty ... and not weeds.  Tried.  But I'll be honest, they were taking over the world.  Then today came and it was 70+ degrees ... and the WHOLE neighborhood came to life.  I heard the lawnmowers crank up.  And still I resisted, until I heard it next door.  So, I gave into peer pressure ... first lawnmowing of the loonnnngggg lawnmowing season.  It was gorgeous to be outside.  I loved it (even if I really didn't have the two hours to blow on it!) ... ahhhhhh ... love the smell!

But, it's also time for this ...

love those first spring buds ...

And it's time for spring break mission trip #1.  We leave for Nawlins tomorrow with UGA.  And then two weeks later, Mexico with SONAT spring break mission trip #2 ... and then Zambia.  I LOVE, LOVE doing missions ... but not gonna lie ... being gone a month out of the next three is a bit daunting.  Pray for the New Orleans crew as we minister in lots of diverse ways.  We have about 15 vehicles heading south tomorrow with 100 passengers.  Ahhhhh ... makes me excited, and tired.  all. at. the. same. time.  I might have a 12 pack of DC hidden away in my secret stash.
