I could not be more proud!! And a little sad not to be serving alongside them this week. THIS is what I miss most about my other life. Watching my nursing girls grow ... and serve. Have I mentioned that I think medical missions is the best picture of God's heart?? Cause I'm pretty sure it is. :-)
Most of these girls were brand new nursing students that first spring break trip 7 years ago. Now, they are the veteran practitioners, seeing patients with confidence rather than hesitancy and mentoring the newbies ... not just in medicine, but in living out their faith.
I cannot imagine my life without all of these precious nursing girls (and Ross!) ... they changed my life for the better as we did life and served Jesus all over the place. I love you guys and cannot wait to hear the amazing stories of all God did this week.
