Because its Friday ...

I'ts been a looonnnnnnggggggg two weeks!  And we're now only one week away from Mexico, so I have a feeling it's gonna be a busy week getting last things prepared.  Still chewing on TN's challenges on temptation (I would ask why it's hard to resist, but then, it wouldn't be a temptation if it wasn't appealing ... so I'll leave that one there) 

Just for fun ... saw this on Beth Moore's blog ... and it seemed interesting, even sitting down to think of 10 things was a nice brain break from the rest of the week ... so I'm hoping some of you guys will post back your own list of 10 things that most people would not know about you/things that make you quirky unique ... I'm kind of afraid that I could post 10 of my quirks EVERY Friday and not run out.  That might make me a little scary.

 10 Things You Might Not Know

1. I really prefer NOT to wear shoes and if I must, I choose flip flops.
2. I love the beach, but HATE sand.
3. I am semi-addicted to books on tape and will get the "shakes" if I have to make a trip longer than an hour without one ...
4. Which is because I LOVE to read and if I had a whole week off with nothing to do, would probably read 15 books and not feel a minute's desire to do anything else ...
5. Except have Mexican food and diet coke because I could do that for every meal every day and aside from weighing 400 pounds ... have no regrets.  And I refuse to count, but I've probably consumed a 12 pack of diet coke in one day (Gini was probably there!)
6. I really do not enjoy shopping (except on VERY rare occasions and even then, it's a very short window of enjoyment!) ... would much rather walk around outside than in a mall ... and if I DO shop, prefer anywhere BUT the mall.  If I could choose, I would fish rather than shop!
7. My fear of heights actually makes me pass out, and my fear of snakes is out of control and irrational (will not even touch a picture in a book) ... plus, I've led too many mission trips to count, but always get a little lot anxious about the travel part.
8. I really would LOVE to be a baker, writer and a photographer and live in Colorado ... if I didn't have to pay bills and have a "real job"
9. I was incredibly afraid of dogs growing up.  Like them now.  Wouldn't mind if cats were extinct.  Sorry!!
10. I really can't stand to have dishes in the sink.
