#1 - Scouting the divine ... not just the book, but the idea of looking for God in the ordinary and extraordinary parts of life
#2 - Warmer weather and longer days ... and some sunshine on the side. It's 7:15 pm and its still LIGHT outside. HATE what the time change does to my body ... love what it does to my evenings!
#3 - My new camera. I am a SLOW purchaser ... think about it for a long time ... toy with shopping around and checking reviews. But I DID it ... finally joined the digital SLR world with a new rebel ... and did some playing around with it ... just a little! Sadly, last week was so insane that it sat in a box unopened for FIVE days before I even got to open it up. SOOOO, there's a lot of playing to be done.
With that in mind ... I did some of my own scouting the divine this afternoon with the word "new" in my heart. I think it's a given that spring brings to mind all things NEW ... NEW weather, NEW sunshine, NEW clothes, NEW season, NEW life ... and the buds are just starting to peep. Like the warm days ... kind of feel like its more of a teaser than the real thing in full bloom. So before my week turns into working from sunup to sundown ... gonna share some of my favorite reminders of the NEW God brings ... NEW life, NEW desires, NEW heart, NEW song, NEW mercies, NEW energy, NEW season, NEW hope ... ahhhhhhhhhhh
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the desert
and streams in the wasteland.
