One of my goals this year is to take more time to create.  There is just something so amazing about creative endeavors.  It truly is a form of worship as we relate to God in a way so integral to who He is. 

Creating for me takes several forms: painting, crafting, baking, writing, photography.  It relaxes me.  It can be used to bless others.  It energizes me.  It releases something in me begging to come out.  And I LOVE it.  I would like to get some better skills in areas like photography and maybe cake decorating ... even try some different kinds of painting.  And even at its heart, this blog is about creating. 

I invited my senior girls over tonight to talk and laugh.  to eat and drink (diet coke!).  to paint.  GLORIOUS night.  so amazing to see how God makes us all different, how we relate and create differently and it is beautiful!
