Instead, I drove to north GA to be part of a missions extravaganza for elementary aged kids. I really don't do kids that age. They are kind of obnoxious and not easily entertained. And I didn't get to talk to them about all of the cool, exotic places missionaries serve, I got to talk to them about being a missionary to Athens, GA. I HOPE that I helped them get a glimpse of how God wants to use them as a missionary where they are the same way he uses my awesome college students as missionaries at UGA. I hope. I think they were mostly still stuck on how cool it is to live in Japan. Oh well ...
But in honor of Dr. King and all the good he tried to do in our world, gonna share a quote that I think says it well. Now, if we can live it well. I think Jesus would be pleased.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr."I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear."
