Not gonna lie ... as I fell into be last night, I thought ... "oh no! I did not post to the blog today"
BUT, my parents were here and we had a fun, relaxed evening over soup and fresh apples with Gavin and his parents.
And somehow, that was more important than checking facebook and writing blog entries. So glad it was!
Being brave for me meant living in the moment and enjoying what I had in front of me instead of feverishly trying to fulfill all the self-imposed expectations I put on my life. It meant not being the rules girl ... and finding grace for myself! Hard sometimes!
Speaking of which, about to sit by the fire and enjoy my last evening with the parents.
So thankful for all the brave decisions they made to provide such a sweet life for Kevin and me.
