Brave Day #30 ... thank goodness ...

Not gonna lie.  I'm getting a bit weary of thinking about, writing about, trying to do brave things.  Kinda ready to get back to writing when I have something to say.  But being as that I am still a rules driven kind of girl ... I want to finish this 31 day thing (that was actually 30 days for me).  Maybe tomorrow I will be profound.  Today, I am clearing out my "brave" ideas file with some quotes and verses that intrigued me on this journey.  And a few pictures from the fall weekend I enjoyed with my parents.

Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen. ~Winston Churchill

Courage is being afraid but going on anyhow.
~Dan Rather

Courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point.
~C.S. Lewis

The courage of life is often a less dramatic spectacle than the courage of a final moment; but it is no less a magnificent mixture of triumph and tragedy.
~John F. Kennedy

One man with courage makes a majority.
~Andrew Jackson

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6

Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.  “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.  Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Joshua 1:6-8

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:13
