Jesus' birth changed everything. He ushered in a new covenant. He made the way for us to have a relationship with the Father ... not through a priest, but through a relationship. And by having a relationship with Christ, we are changed ... new creatures.
So today, I am celebrating the birth of the Christ-child, wondering what it must have been like for his parents and those expecting a "different" kind of Messiah and being thankful for the life I have because of the life He gave. Faith Hill has a wonderful song that reminds us that this child, this baby, indeed changes everything. everything.
