UNWRAP.
Gavin has the discipline to save Christmas gifts to open ON Christmas. That's not me. If I get a gift before Christmas, birthday, etc, it gets opened. immediately. guaranteed! So, we have an ongoing standoff on opening gifts on Christmas (which I promptly open them the minute I am home ... he just THINKS I save them for Christmas) or opening them together before. Well, this year, I won. It's just so much more fun to SEE someone open a gift! I mean, what fun was it to wrap the "Wreck Tech" shirt if I was never gonna see Gavin's face when he opened it. Oh yeh, well ... I love it. I love it so much that I often get behind opening my gifts because I just want to stop and see what everyone else is getting!
We've received the greatest gift in Christ! Do we take time to unwrap the blessing that that entails and show it off to the world??? One of the greatest compliments to a great gift is telling others about it!
