D is for ...

DELIGHT.

I'll admit I was kind of stumped on D this morning.  And then as I served up some yummy Panera bagels and coffee at the nursing school this morning, the creamers everyone was swooning over had the word "delight" on them and it seemed a perfect reminder.

Dictionary.com defines DELIGHT as ...
–noun

1. a high degree of pleasure or enjoyment; joy; rapture.
2. something that gives great pleasure.

–verb (used with object)
3. to give great pleasure, satisfaction, or enjoyment to; please highly.

–verb (used without object)
4. to have great pleasure; take pleasure (fol. by in or an infinitive).

What better time than this to DELIGHT, find joy, give pleasure, enjoy?  I am reminded that we start, first, by delighting in the Lord ... and in doing that, HIS desires become ours ... and we then, delight in our lives.
