P is for ...

PEACE.

Peace. For so many people, its a missing piece of their holidays ... because of family drama ... because of unmet expecations .... financial strains ... hurts ... rejection ... sickness ... death.  I wept with a friend last night as her Daddy went "home" for Christmas this year, thankful that he is whole and well ... sad that we had to say goodbye too soon ... and sad that Christmas will always be marked with this memory for her family.

But the angels declared to the shepherds on that first Christmas night ...

“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”  Lk. 2:14

Jesus came to bring us peace ... HERE on this earth.  Wondering how I can be an agent of this peace this Christmas.
